I've been looking through some stuff online and everywhere I see CMH bulbs popping up, I hadn't heard of these until a few days ago so I was like "Defuq did i just read?" But apparently, they are the closest thing to natural sunlight available, are retro fitted to work in HPS ballasts ( as long as its not digital and the wattage of bulb and ballast are the same.) and can be used for a plants entire life cycle. To me this seems like a solid investment because I have a 400watt HPS setup and this CMH bulb could replace my veg and flower rig potentially. I found a bulb for $90.00 on HTG supply but I don't kmow if that's a good price, or even a good quality CMH, heres a link. HTG Supply - 400 Watt Ceramic Metal Halide Lamp and if anyones interested heres a complete 400watt CMH kit. HTG Supply - 400 Watt Ceramic Metal Halide | 400 Watt CMH Anyone have any experience with these lights, or know much about them? could be the replacement for a multi-light setup if they are as good as these companies boast. EDIT: found a pic of the CMH bulbs spectrum as compared to an HPS and an article about them http://www.growlightexpress.com/pages/ceramic-metal-halide-pv-c0-2.html
