Cloudy to Amber Trichomes

Discussion in 'Harvesting and Processing Marijuana' started by little smoke, Jun 24, 2012.

  1. I originally posted this in the absolute beginners section but had no responses so thought this section would be best!

All my trichomes are cloudy now, on average how long would you say it takes them to start to go amber? I am not after an exact figure as I guess this can vary, but just looking for a ball park figure...

    Can anyone help?

    Cheers

  2. I think the amber trichomes are caused by the strain but i could be wrong.

  3. Really...? I am growing autoflower strains so I am not sure if that is going to make a difference, I would like to wait till I have amber trichomes but if thats not going to happen I have 2 different plants (and strains) that could be ready for the chop!! :smoke:

  4. In EVERY strain you will begin to see amber trichomes towards the end of the plants life. It goes like this. Clear-Milky-Amber....its all a matter of preference. Most like to harvest at about 50/50 Amber to milky. I harvest at about 30/70 Amber to milky.

  5. Thank you I will keep on waiting then...
