Ok so I have closet space 38''x 24'' and am wondering if I could at least two plants in there. I plan on getting http://www.htgsupply.com/viewproduct.asp?productID=47929 for lighting and was wondering if the plants would do fine in two 5 gallon buckets. Also how will the odor be. I dont plan on putting them in any type of container since im already limited on space, so is it possible to put some type of filter in there without putting the plants into another container? My ideal setup would be to have the two plants in the closet with a small fan blowing from a shelf and the light overhead. However if this helps, I can get two rubbermaid containers and stack them on top of eachother and cut out the bottom, but then i'm not sure how I would set up the lights. Thanks
My flowering room is roughly the same size as your room (3.5ft by 1.8ft by 7ft) and I can grow six plants in there at max capacity but still enough room for all. I use a 400 watt hps as well. You will be just fine with your two plants and 5 gallons buckets would certainly be big enough, remember you want one gallon of soil roughly for every foot on plant height. I use 10" pots for flowering and they work fine even for plants around 4.5 ft tall but towards the end I tend to have to water more often because the pots so filled with roots. Peace.
