Just use that very nice search feature at the top right. There is many stickies that have a lot of good info in them. Just look around and do some research and you will find everything you need.
Yep, the stickies in the General Indoor Growing Forum, Absolute Beginners and Advances Grow Techniques will be very helpful to educate you. As far as figuring out exactly what you need, I would search for closet grow journals in the Grow Journals forum. Try to find one that has been harvested and see what they used for materials and equipment. Good luck
