Hey fellow stoners I saw a video on YouTube called... Stealth CFL dresser veg. to harvest. And the guy was growing one plant in a closet almost identical to one I have so now I feel like I have to try it! Just wandering what sort of smell radius I should expect ? The dresser is in my room and I don't want the rest of my house to smell all through the flower and drying stages. Does anyone think I'll have a problem or will I be able to contain the smell in the closet with a few fans ? The image attached is a screenshot of the YouTube video. I plan on growing my plant the same size .Thanks for any help in advance !
If its good weed you will smell it!. Buy a car airfreshner like a magic tree and hang it in the grow space or just to be really safe buy "ona gel". It's industrial airfreshner cleaners use, I use it in all my grows, just open the lid and leave it in the room. Bullet proof buddy
I guarantee you're whole room will reek of dank 24/7 during flower if not contained properly. If you have money go with a inline fan carbon filter combo you can find em on amazon n ebay for $100+. If money is a issue, Drier sheets in front of exhaust fans, coffee grounds by exhaust fans, and hang air freshener + have febreeze on hand. Wishing you and your soon to come ladys health cheers. Judging by the pic it's a pretty micro and personal grow, spending money on a carbon filter (if u can even get one that size) wouldent benefit you imo. The ona scent gets swirled around with the fans and woukd mask that area completely. You not thinking about upping your grow size?
nah im not thinking up upsizing right now, maybe in the future. But im going to stick to just one maybe even 2 small plants for person use. id rather not spend that much on a carbon filter right now if you dont think its necessary. just need something that will stop the smell leaking out of my room into the rest of the house. pretty sure the parents wont want guests or neighbors getting a wiff of the dank. so do you think ona gel is really strong enough to do that ?
Yeah what ever best for your needs and situation. I would say it's pretty bullet proof. Small plant less mass less smell, cfl emit very low heat so the smell won't be encouraged by that, plus it actully looks like a pretty sick stealth grow, looks neatly contained. The gel stuff is great, you can even open it up and split the crystals into.diffrent containers and place them in diffrent spots in the room. I always put one close to my door so when iam leaving and entering the room the door causes a drag and moves the freshness about. It's awesome stuff mate
