I know what you mean about the fimming. I tried it in one of the side branches of my mom about 5 days ago and it didn't look like it did anything. I ended up just giving her a real good trim last night to keep her in check. Sucks you have to order all your stuff. I'm lucky in the fact that I have multiple hydro shops to choose from if I need anything.
ok so heres the pics of the cuts i made frist is the top of the afghani second is there branch that i topped the thrid is the FIMd branch of the skunk and the forth is the top of the skunk
i watered them today they got 2 teaspoons per gallon they each got a 1/2 gallon i adjusted the pH of the mixture to 6.5 and the run off was 6.0 one minor question: i have little trays that the pots sit in to collect the run off. after watering should i empty those trays or leave them full? i dont think it makes a big difference but i wanted to check.. oh i got my first sack from a club some TOOTIE FRUITY bomb!
so i well be getting some new plants!!!! my gf is getting two mothers from a friend and is going to put them in my closet to live we well take clones from them and grow the clones we well actually be able to sell the mothers back to the friend in 6 months or so its like renting a plant lol not sure what strains so instead of taking clones from the afghani and skunk i well be just flowering them im excited!
Sorry man, been busy working long days all week. The topping and fimming look really good! Can't wait for the flip to get some budporn! Why can't you keep all your mothers? Seems like it would be a shame to get rid of 2 really good strains. If they are too big, then you could just trim them way back to make space. You'd be surprised at how much you can cut back! Or you could cut clones off your moms and then get rid of them and then grow one of each into a new mom and keep them real small by pruning them (bonsai them)! Oh! Just realized today IS flip day!
Hi Bunny- You should definitely dump out the run off. Letting the pots sit in water is a bad idea; this causes root rot. Take care.
ok so i had to flip the switch a day early cuz i was outa town lastnight. but so far so good so today is the second day of 12/12 they seem to be getting a growth spurt ill post some pics later tonight! along with a better update
ok so sorry i never updated like i said i would but ive been busy as hell life sucks lol anyways today was the 5th day of flowering the lights are off right now or i would take update pics but heres the last pix of veg 1. both the babys 2. Went back through and read all the posts, They probably are just getting really hungry. I'd just keep feeding them according to the Fox Farm schedule. Looking good though!
Hey bunny, try adjusting your water in to a ph of 7 for the next feeding and see how it does. I read one of your posts that said water in was 6.5 and runoff was 6. For most soil you want to be 6.6 to 6.8 I had trouble with mine below 6.6. Watered a couple times with Ph7 and now she is lush and dark green
