After I got out of work today I proceeded to go to this alleyway behind a small sketchy building to smoke 2 bowls. After smoking, I stumbled out the alleyway blazed as hell, and started hearing police sirens around the area. Being extremely paranoid I proceeded to walk to the train, and there I see 4 cops and I see approximately 70 kids wayling the fuck out for no reason and fighting on the whole block I was near a high school (btw I'm in NYC) and there were kids smoking weed too at the scene and I was about 2 inches away from the cops with a reeking pipe blazed outta my mind and all of a sudden I hear the cop say to the other cop "do you smell marijuana around here?" I got so scared I ran to the top of the platform and the cops followed and looked at me for 2 minutes and just walked away I was lucky they didn't search me because of the stop and frisk policy in NYC they can search without consent and now I'm blazing a bowl right now Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum

Yeah dude I used to live literally 5 minutes away from Queens and NYC Is not the place you'd EVER want to be caught. Not only do they violate the 4th amendment, but marijuana is technically decriminalized to a citation. However, those scumbags will make SURE to bump it up to misdemeanor/felony for "public view of marijuana" or w/e the legal term is called. Even if they took it out of your pockets. Don't risk it next time. It's really not worth it.

I don't get how the cops could know it was you when you said there were kids around that was smoking weed also? And I don't get why the cops were just standing around when these kids are " waylaying and fighting on the whole block" whatever that means.
