cloning

  1. I clone with a home made cloning machine. It is in a 25 gallon or so plastic storage bin with a lid: both colored so light cannot pollute the dark rooting area. I got another 30 gallon clear plastic storage of relatively the same size. I built a sprinkler rail that would spray the entire container lid that has 47 holes that fit the cloning machine round neoprene plugs. ( 1/8 inch smaller diameter ). I drilled about 15 1/8 inch holes for drainage in the lid also. I put a bulk head drain with a ball valve at the bottom of the main basin. I played around with sizing a pump until i found one that gently throws water on the bottom of the lid and cuttings stems. I then bought a cold mist humidifier and modified it to flow through a 3/4 inch plastic hose which is connected to a hole i drilled in the other clear tub . i filled the basin with the pump with 5.5 ph water and about 1/4 bloom nutrients and plugged in the pump cord i ran into the lower tub then sealed back with silicone. i sealed the lid with the clone plugs to its container so it leaks not. the ph rises in the start and needs to be checked everyday and i change it every three days or so. i keep the humidifier full and running constantly. we will see how it works: i know how it works, like a champ. i will give a breakdown in a week or two. 24 hour veg room with the mothers DE 1000 watt at 100% but 4 ft to the side and 3 foot up. started 32 7/10/2023 74 degrees F.

  2. now that sounds like fun and here all i did was stick them in promix and solo cups How many cuttings will you root at once? how long will it take? keep an eye out for mold in your tank and good luck

  3. 32 i seen that hopefully within 10 days you will have roots

  4. Sounds like overkill. As long as youve got a airstone and a little circulation pump, the stems can just sit in water and they will root in 7-10 days. I think my cloner is about 2 gallons. 12 sites but i could put 2 in each site if i ever had a want or need but i doubt that will ever happen.

  5. I know what you mean unless a guy had room to grow 32 plants or something I have thrown away more clones that were rooted than I have grown now I just do maybe 8 maximum and pick the 3 best to grow

  6. to feed the plants and should not be necessary for the short time this takes, 10 days in my case,
I have in the past preferred to foliar spray, 1tsp per pint to a spray bottle, otherwize the salts in said nute
turn the water, hence screw the vital ph...consider

    good luck

  7. So far so good! Gonna try turn and burn with floraflex; you pretty much go straight to flower from rooted clones, with 2 scrog nets over the flowering period.
