can a plant be cloned when its flowering?? would it hurt the plant that is flowering if u do cut off a branch. please help. plant is looking fire but not sure if i should clone it. and by the way how do u know it is going to be good before it even finshs. is there any way?? thanks guys
You should not take a clone that is flowering because you want the plant to grow in vegetative state before it flowers. clip the buds off the top of the clones they will still grow with flowers they will just develop a lot slower...
Four weeks from the 12/12 switch, or four weeks from showing signs of sex? Bottom line, it is not the best time to take clones. It can be done at any point in flowering if necessary. But, those clones are going to take longer to root than clones taken during veg. Good luck.
I did it from 12/12 form seed plants. cut 5 clones and all rooted. used mg root stuff tho. But it worked. I have 2in. budding plants tho. haha. But it worked out ok so far.
