So far I've given it a try and took a clone of some k-train I got goin and put it in the same planter which is about a 5 gallon. Its growing kinda slow, but I'm not sure if its being blocked by the other foilage from the mother, or if its too far from the lamp. My question is: Is cloning from 12/12 similar to growing from seed under 12/12 or is cloning not effective under 12/12? I don't wanna hack away at my LSD and Purple Lady for clones that aren't going to grow or go anywhere.
I'd really love to know the answer to this as well. I'd like to be able to get clones rooted in 12/12, would that be possible? Wouldn't that confuse the clones into flowering? Oh and a little off topic, how satisfied have you been with Purple Lady?
Well she was a freebie from the attitude seedbank and is about 1 month old. I also left her and an LSD in the party cups for 2 weeks too long. But now that I've transplanted shes very stout, lush, and responds well to LST. I believe there are some pistils showing but they are very tiny. I want to clone her today but don't want to cut unless the clone will grow and not be dwarfed. I will try to post some pics.
Are you asking whether you can leave the cuttings under the 12/12 lighting or take cuttings while in 12/12? Cause if you're asking if you can take cuttings in 12/12, I know there are several people who take cuttings a month into 12/12 with no issue. Hope this helps
Yea I know you can take cutting whenever, but the question is will they root under and can I leave them under 12/12? So far the ones I'm talking about were grown from seed, with 12/12 from the start. So my logic says yes. But, I just want to be sure.
Yes from seed and hopefully if all goes right (barring a light problem at the moment) to weed. No, they aren't autoflowers, I've read you can grow from seed to weed under 12/12 and get just as or even more impressive results.
