cloning question.

  1. hey all. just wondering, i gut a few plants that i wanna clone in a month or so as you could probably tell if you read the other thread in this forum i made. i was wondering about the whole stressing plants thing. if you cut the plant wouldnt that stress it? would that have a high tendency to turn the clones and the plant they came from into hermies? i know taking them in the flowering stage is bad so i wont do that due to the high levels of stress put on the clone and the mother so i will revert back to veg after sexing. my other question is wouldnt the screwing with the light regime mess with the plant and stress it out creating hermies as well? for instance going from 18/6 to 12/12 back to 18/6. point here i dont want hermies! and i want to avoid it at all costs because i will plant these next year outside and i wont be able to go there all the time and pull males/hermies. i can only visit about 2 times per month. help me out guys thanks:wave:

  2. i dont understand?? why would you get hermies your just taking cuttings from the plant and cloning them that wont stress the plant very much (unless its reall small like under a foot or something) you wont get hermies man.....in flowering i like to cut like the 3 bottom branches off and they are pretty big stems....(i do them one at a time like cut one every watering) this focuses all the energy to the upper branches and and makes the buds fatter...these bottom branches will just produce small loose buds anyways..... well anyways im gettin off topic but no you shouldnt get hermies man

  3. a clone will be what ever the parent plant was.

  4. yeah i figured the clone would be the same as the parent plant. i just wanted to be extra sure cuz i want good quality crop for next year and good quality to me is a sensi crop. i figured that what i have goin was fine but like i said its always good to be sure. thank you both for your input. much appreciate d. happy growin.
