cloning question.

  1. if a mother plant is grown in one specific type of soil, does that mean that clones taken from her will be used to this kind of soil?"aquired a taste" even?
and if so,does that mean putting them in a different soil will have adverse affects on the clones??

  2. u can use ANY soil u wanna use....BUT if the mother plant is healthy and LIKES the soil then u should put the clones in the same kinda soil so u kno they will do fine...

  3. if you use a good soil mixture pertinent to your strain and your growing environment, your clones will love it... regardless of what soil the mother plant resides in. so if you don't like the soil mixture your mother plant is growing in, it won't hurt to experiment with different soil mixtures for your clones to find out what works best for that particular strain in your growing environment.

  4. cuttings/clones, can be taken from "any" medium and grown in "any" medium that is suitable to grow in. i.e. hydro clones will do fine in soil and vice versa.

  5. just make shure you are not using soil with pre added nutes, or you will end up burning your little babies, othewise everyone else is giving you the answer!
