Thanks everyone for your help!!! I gave this another go last night. I boiled my razor, cut the clones under nuke warm water. I soaked my rockwool and squeezed them out so I don't get root rot, dipped my clones in the gel and hopefully I will see roots soon!!! How long should it take for clones to root???
Hey Gr0wer, do you gotta pic of your areo cloner???? How big is it and how many clones can you do??? I made a areoponics unit like the Pipedreams it does 200 plants

Sweet, I'll go grab one after work!!! With the clones that have the root rot, can I try re cuuting them above the rot and re dip them in the gel???? My cubes are still soaked but I was thinking of squeezing them out and then trying this. Am I waisting my time???
hey you knwo how i said i just made an areo cloner for my salvia plnts. Well one already is showing a nice 1/16x1/4"x1/16 out, strip of roottips after only 18 hours! dam these guys are easy to clone!
thats fast even for a aero cloner. fastest iv had proper roots show is 3 days and i was amazed at that.
The problem is that I need to do around 600 plants a month, that would be one damn big aero cloner!!!!
thats a lot of cuts by anyones standerds. i take it your growing for profit rather than pleasure? bite the bullet and buy a aero cloner, they do them big enough. if you dont have the cash get a loan off the bank.

Root rot also known as Pythium or damping-off is a common waterborne disease that can seriously affect indoor and outdoor plants. YOu dont buy an areo cloner you make it with a shallow rubermaid container then put airstones or precision drilled (small bit) hoses/tubes at the bottom. dril teh holes about 2" apart, you can go tughter or looser then fill her up with water and start taking cuttings. Why would you need 600 clones a month? You would need to be running 6 coliseums or a massive sog to need that much. an 600 clone per mnoth means you'll need at least a 1k mh with a hydro mom system. Your better off growing with a looser plant spacing and veg a week longer.
So with Rockwool cubes are you not even supposed to have them moist when cloaning??? I have a couple areoponic units that grow 200 plants each, some veg some bloom they each have 3 lights!!! I'll try to get some pics on soon!!!
