Well my box has succeeded after just 7 days I have roots never touched them once just set them in there in the double solo cup dipped in clonex and forgot about them today I went to check if they needed water for the 1st time and I will be damned Houston we have babies
I never found cloning particularly hard, easier than germing seeds IMO + when they are ready you R weeks ahead of the game & pretty much know what to expect from them. The hard part of cloning & growing in general is PATIENCE. FOR ME.
I seriously need to learn how to take proper clones, mine never root!! I have a couple in the humidity dome actually right now that I have to check tomorrow. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I doubt my way is the *proper* way but I have good success. I prepare a small pot with a mixture of worm castings, a generous amount of fine perlite, and sieved recycled potting soil. I use a bamboo skewer to poke a hole in the mixture. I make the cutting and dip it in Clonex. I place the cutting into the prepared hole. I trim back the leaves. I place them under a 6 watt LED grow light. Spray with distilled water with very dilute Dyna Gro liquid fertilizer two or three times per day for a few days. After about a week I spray about once a day. After a couple of weeks when I start seeing some growth I am good to go.
Cut below node, dip in rooting hormone, stick into rooters or coco/perlite mix in cell trays in a dome. It helps to sterilize the dome/tray and tools beforehand, then presoak the rooting medium with bleach water, about 3-4 drops per quart of water with a splash of nutes. Also helps to squeeze the extra water out of the rooters if you are using plugs. Should see roots in about 2 weeks.
