Cloning - humidity issues

Discussion in 'First Time Marijuana Growers' started by That818, Jun 3, 2020.

  1. This is my first time doing clones. Its now day 9 and my humidity has read 99% the whole time and temp kept between 77° f to 81°. I still don't see roots put none of the clones have fallen over. Is my humidity to high? Is that a bad thing ? And what temp is ideal??

  2. 99% seems high, what are you using to check the humidity level and what are you cloning in, ie a dome, pots, and so on. As long as the plants look good I wouldn't worry. Sometimes clones just take a while to root. If you want to speed up the process in the future I highly recomend buying or building an aero cloner.

  3. IMHO, high humidity is good for clones. They have limited ability to draw up water. High humidity means they evaporate less.

  4. I have them in a humidity dome. And im have a hydrometer. Reading me the temps and humidity.
