I know that to effectively clone from a plant started from seed, you must let it grow to 14-16 weeks before it can be cloned and produce well in SOG. I was wondering if it is possible to cut clones earlier than this if my soul purpose for the clones is to determine the sex of the plant? Any info is appreciated.
Yes. I saw a video were the guy took a clone and once it rooted ( 2 wks) he put it into 12/12. The clone was to small to support bud but it will show it's sex.
I would take a cutting after the nodes alternate (6-8 wks), put in water and 12/12. Will show sex in a week or two.
