cloning and light schedule question - please help

Discussion in 'Growing Marijuana Indoors' started by simplymodest82, Mar 12, 2010.

  1. I plan to keep my mothers indoors on an 18/6 schedule. I plan on taking cuttings from them and plant them outside. Sun-up and sun-down in May is 6:30am and 8:40pm which is roughly 14 hours. Given this schedule, should I put my cuttings on a 14/10 schedule until I place them outside? I'm afraid that if I place them under the 18/6 schedule, then place them outside where the light schedule is 14/10, I'm afraid they'll start to pre-flower too early. Ant suggestions?

    Thanks for everything!

  2. cutting go on 24/0

after 2 weeks if and only if the roots are well developed, transplant.

Your mother can also be on 24/0, but it can only absorb 20 hours of light.

Maybe you should use 20/4 for your mother, and 24/0 for the clones.

    More light, more clones.....

  3. If the clones are aleady rooted, you shouldnt have a problem unless you live in the southern hemisphere where its almost the fall season. From now on, there will be increasing amount of daylight until june 21 so im pretty sure it will just veg until this comming fall.
