I am thinking of pulling some clones of one or two of my plants. I have no gel. Should I just put it straight into the soil? I've read different arguments for cloning mediums. I'm doing a lot of clones for a SoG. I have also read something about making the cut under water? Does this mean I submerge an entire plant and cut the clone off (because that sounds bad for a plant)?
No u cut and put the stem of the clone in a cup of water to keep air.. I cut and put straight in soil.. Never had any problems just make sure you use fresh dirt with no nutes in it.
