Clones died in coco

Discussion in 'Growing Marijuana Indoors' started by Bdsnacks, Oct 23, 2021.

  1. So i did a run in coco and man my plants are huge. I wanted to continue this and i took clones from them. On my next run i wanted to do all organic so i put all of my fertilzers in the coco and once my clones rooted i put them in solo cups with the coco...all of them died? I usually grow in dirt and never had an issue with clones in dirt...i have no idea what i did wrong.

  2. Did you hydrate the amended coco and let it "cook" for a few weeks before planting?

BTW, amended coco never seems to work that well. Most people prefer a peat based mix for their organic grows.

  3. Did you water the coco like soil ? Or hydroponic .
Coco is really a hydroponic medium. Most people do not know that. Nutrients do not bind with coco.
So all the nutrients must be taken up by water. Meaning coco is perfect for flood and drain in my opinion.
Coco does work well for popping seeds you cant over water .
