Clone wars: What day do you start cracking your humidome?

Discussion in 'Growing Marijuana Indoors' started by StickyEnt, Dec 27, 2020.

  1. While I know a great deal is strain dependant as well as type of cut(woody vs soft) I imagine some other growers out there, have preferred number of days they wait with their humidomes while cloning.
I usually start giving air around the fourth to fifth day, about as small a open as possible on both sides.
Just wondering what other people find works well for them.
I have done some air rooting in sealed bags and let them sit for two weeks+ so I know they can do fine without much, just wondering if a lot of people wait longer til the tenth day or even two weeks.
While I get that in an aero cloner I don't need a humidome, it's not ideal for my style growing.
Close are oasis cubes but still annoying to some degree, so I have ended up going back to cells. Currently running fifty cell, however looking at these 72s.
Hoping they recreate using these medicine caps which work great but are a pain to cut open, also I realise I will be losing some of the root type which I get by no holes.
Anyways drop a note if you care. Just looking to talk with others who mess about with this stuff.

  2. Once you get a few roots you can open a bit and start hardening em off.
