Well got them all in their final homes under 1200 watts of metal halide now nature will take over I think the clones will grow faster I may top them the seeds are Moby dick clones are white widow
I've been investing my energies in propagation and finally have a dedicated (re-vegged) mother producing what I hope to be a steady stream of hopefully guaranteed females. The ongoing frustration of seed based efforts has always been preening over promising specimens for my two month cycle of long hours only to suffer the eventuality of a disappointing percentage of males. Are your clones from store bought sources or taken from a reliable female?
taken from a plant i grew myself only problem i grew 2 different types white widow and super critical and didnt mark anything so the mother is either or and for now on i will keep better track fingers crossed that they are widows
I'm forever failing to label my efforts and fall back on the posts I make here to keep track of timelines and such.
I think the clones need serious training to keep them low at this point so everyone is the same height in a few weeks also going to top the seeds soon
After growing for more than 35 years, I settled on the mother - clone process. Occasionally I have started seeds when I really wanted a certain strain. Currently I have 3 strains that are grafted to a single mother. The 3 way mother is kept small (bonsai) in order to save space. As I grew fond of a strain I would graft it to another desired strain, and then the 3rd. This is a 2 year old 2 way grafted mom. Chem Brulee Topanga Cookies The above 3 way lost it’s Pebble Punch when that branch broke off in an accident. The photo below is the new 3 way grafted mother I’m working on now. the PP and TC were grafted on using the “approach method” 3 weeks prior to this photo. I prefer working with proven female clones. When I take cuttings for a run I will only need 2 plants to move to the bloom chamber. I will start with 8-10 cuttings and select the best to take to bloom. here is another 3 way just in case I loss or damage the other. Photo taken the day I made the graft. All 3 are growing in the same container. Stems are wounded then the wounds are clipped together for 2 weeks before 2 of the 3 are severed from the roots. There is more to the details but that’s the basics.
