  2. I don't see a dome lid. Are you using one?
I take tiny clones a inch tall with 1 trimmed fan the size of my thumb.
Keep them in 100% humidity for 3 weeks and get 80% rooted clones.

Heat mats under each cloner tray keep the temps at 75-80 F.

  3. Funny , how people do things differently ..
For clones I don't use rock wool , i use clay balls in a 3 inch basket in a dwc system with heating mat .
Seedlings i use rock wool until i see roots then I transplant the rock wool cube into a 3 inch basket with rinsed clay balls and then into a DIY DWC system

Looking at your photos , my first thought was were is the water ?
Where is the humidity around the root system ?

Roots need moisture/water/humidity and oxygen ... or Oxygenated water .... temperature and humidity controlled environment.
Normally I give my plants half R O water and half tap water. My Tap water is super hard ,, over 500 PPM's

Under the rock wool or the 3 in baskets with clay balls I want 100% humidity .. drip system or aeroponic systems work fantastic ..
    Good luck

  4. I think rock wool cubes are the worst way to clone. I have had really good luck, nearly 100%, in DWC. I use pretty small shoots, like 1/16” to 1/8” , from near the bottom of the plant. I leave two small sets of leaves below the tip. I put them in neoprene cloning discs over a 5 gal. bucket FULL of water right up to the discs. No humidity hood. Under the edge of my 200w induction grolight. It doesn’t seem very important how far away the light is as long as it doesn’t get too close and dry and over heat them. But I’ve seen several highly successful methods used.

so, I recommend trying a different method next time.

  5. Looks to me like there is to much foliage. Maybe cut some of those leaves away and shorten up the clips on the fan leaves and keep it misted often sense your not using a dome.
Aeroponics 8 site bucket cloner ftw
