Indoor grow under LED lighting: I have an AK-47 fem plant that I took clones off early this spring. I had them in a bubble cloner for about three weeks with no root growth, giving up, I put the clones into rockwool cubes and kept them pretty wet. Out of 6 clones, only one finally started growing. I put the clone into the same size smart pot, with the same soil mix and under the same lighting as the mother. (they sit side by side) Now the clone is much larger than the mother which is twice as old and if I didn't know better I would not think the clone is from the mother plant, but I know it is. Is that unusual that the clone would overtake the mother plant so rapidly?
nope, ordered my cobs, 1040watts 1 mother although it's soil to dwc but still the bubble plant clone started much smaller and is now dwarfing the mother.
Maybe you did something like get the ph off or put too much nutrients in the soil on the mother plant and that didn't happen to the clone?
I don't see how.... only mixed one batch of soil and anytime I have fertilized, I have done it across the board I'm not complaining, I just thought it was odd that the clone, while a stunted runt has grown so rapidly
