clone flowering question

  1. so can i force flowering on my clones at any time i want? obviously i'd wait for the root structure to form but being that the clones are actually as old as the mother plant (which is four months, or would be had i not harvested it a tad early) they'll bud anytime right? oh yea, is co2 supplement only needed during flowering or during veg also?

  2. as you said yes you can make those clones flower whenever you want as long as its roots have developed. dunno about the co2 question but plants outside take in c02 during the day their entire lifes so im guess its ok for both

  3. Yes you can force it whenever you want. ALso, co2 isn't needed during veg but I doubt it will hurt the plants if you did use some :D

  4. Co2 is needed by all plants for proper development be it veg or flower.

  5. i was hoping the all-knowing dierwolf would see this. another question, when using rockwool for clones, do you just put the stalk in the rockwool and put that in an egg carton or some like thing, or put it into the rockwool and in turn plant that in a small container with dirt?

  6. best leaving the cuttings in small rockwool cubes - i put cling-film round mine so I can see when the roots are poking through.
Then ur off :D do what u normally would when u repot - but take the cling film off obviously :D

  7. throwing another question out there...
i know how to clone, but how do you force flowering on it? and why can it only be done on a clone?

  8. what do u mean???
U can force flowering on seedlings if u want but there's no point!
The idea of forcing flowering on a clone is to determine the sex of the mother, so u know that all subsequent clones from that mother will all be female.
If it shows signs of maleness u scrap the lot. :smoking:
