Clone•seed=hermie?

  1. I’m looking for some input here hope somebody actually knows.
Took some clones off my indoor plants with no seeding put them outside for the summer and in early September I noticed a few ball sacks. Realizing too late I planted too close to house kitchen lights made plant hermie a bit. Have found only 10 seeds when trimming will probably find a few more.
My question is the plant hermied not from genetics but from environment will they grow to be hemies or be regular. Love the strain (orange mimosa Barney Farms)grew into a monster outside (over a pound)but don’t want to waste my time growing inside a tent something I feel will hermie out and seed others

  2. If it was light stress, its not really a true hermi, and also many many strains will throw a few balls towards the end of flowering, to try and keep the genetics going.
My guess is that it will most likely be a female seed, and wont hermi on you. Nothing is ever 100%, but Id say its not going to hermi.

  3. i would try to grow them all they should be fine

  4. Many strains are more sensitive to stresses than others. Information about growing environments is passed on from parent to seed. If the parent hermied due to light stress, there is the possibility that the seeds will more readily hermie due to stresses than the parent. Grow at your own risk.

  5. They will be female plants

  6. I have a strain that I love. It’s Pebble Punch. It is from regular seeds not fem. It showed a couple male flowers, so few that I picked them off. After harvest I discovered an occasional seed. The flowers were awesome and the smoke is super good. I have the strain grafted onto my 3 strain grafted bonsai mom. I’ve grown out the strain a total of 3 times, 2 from cuttings, notice a few seeds only from the first run.
It’s good smoke we’re after, an occasional seed doesn’t bother me. The Colombian that I smoked in the 70s and 80s has thousands of seeds per ounce.
