Clipping Leaves?

Discussion in 'Growing Marijuana Indoors' started by mrcheezle, Aug 14, 2006.

  1. Should leaves that have turned a yellow and brown be cut off to avoid further spreading of possible disease? Not really sure what should be done.

  2. Depends what the problem is. If it is fungus or mold then clipping is good and might stop it. If they are yellowing because of a deficiency, clipping won't stop anything. Clip them if you like, they will not heal back to green and figure out what the problems is and why they yellowed.

  3. yep, you need to find out what the problem is first, then feel free to clip only the effected leaves...
Looks like an over-fert to me... someone correct me if i'm wrong

  4. Lets figure out what the problem is.
    Then you can clip.
What type of soil you using?
    What type of lights?
    How old is plant?
Have they been fed, how much and with what?
