Hey guys so im starting my first grow ever and i want to grow with clfs for the first time. I went to my local ace hardware and they had these lights on sale for .99 so I bought 4 for the hell of it. My ? is how many of these do you think I will need for a grow box that is roughly 4ft x 2 ft x 4 ft high. I was hoping to get like 3-4 plants in there. you would probably need at least like 6 of those for each plant by the time they start flowering. but for seedlings and vegetative you only need like 2-4 per plant. you really want as much light as you could possibly generate... especially with cfl's
26w for 0.99 is a great deal... id go back and buy 20... then cram them ALL in... the more light the better with CFL's it costs me $10 for a pack of 3 but i have also have access to bigger CFL's... 50w (200w equiv) which are a bit more expensive
