  1. how do u know when to stop feeding; it seems trichs can turn quickly. going by 2mo veg=2mo flower, i think 2 more wks, but it's bagseed+looks sativa; i want to feed [dilute] as long as poss. cuz rootbound.......but healthy. will keep trying to upload pics. :confused_2: pistils 1/4 brown.....trics many+clear.....saw some sideways today, w/stalks. beautiful thx 2 all

  2. I am convinced this idea of ´flushing´is a total myth. Just giving plain water is only going to flush any accumulated nutes out of the soil.

No way are any nutes or other chemicals going to travel back down the plant and out of the roots AGAINST osmotic pressure.

I tried it once with one plant as an experiment and could detect no difference whatever compared to the other plants that had been ferted to the end.

So now I do just that - fert to the very end.

  3. wouldnt the plants just use up whats left in them after the flush

let me know if that doesnt make sence to you

  4. I think nutes get absorbed by plant tissues pretty quickly.

And do tomato growers flush their plants so the tomatoes don´t taste of horse shit?? I don´t think so.

I just reiterate, I tried it once and could detect no difference whatever. Proof of the pudding, as they say. It is something people have read about, so just do it anyway without question.

  5. i am going to flush then no water for the last week... but spanishfly is the man so i shall say flushing probably bs

  6. ty for reply,sf ..very helpful. i do like to feed those babies:D +rep
now,to further presume....any ideas about putting seeds in fridge before planting?

  7. Why on earth would you want to do that???

  8. well, makes em think it's winter so when they're planted they think it's spring? so i've read. maybe more likely to germ, more vigorous? :D

  9. i've seen the same thing reasoner22, but that was for a certain strain or for seeds that had a hard time germinating otherwise. it's not something you'd do normally.

  10. MJ is a tropical plant. The seeds never need to be chilled. That is a nonsense you have read/ heard.

  11. clearly they dont need to be + prob any way to ^ germ rate of spendy seeds would be common knowledge by now. i have some lowryders. it does get cold in mexico. who knows. when i get my seed crop, i'll try it.:p
