Cleaning Bubblers

  1. Should I hassle trying to clean my bubbler? I spent about $20 and am actually looking to upgrade, should i clean it out or throw it out and buy a new one?

Also, which ones should I look into if I wanna spend roughly $50 a new one, no bongs though, I'm looking for portability

  2. grav labs makes really nice bubblers. check them out. and it wouldn't be too hard to clean your bubbler with iso and salt

  3. Kinda a waste to throw it away if its a lil dirty don't you think ? Unless its a crappy bubbler , then get yourself a new one :smoke:

  4. Do i have to fill the water chamber with a lot of alcohol, or can I do alcohol and water mix? and the salt never goes down into the water chamber, which makes it difficult to clean

  5. You do not want to mix alcohol and water. That will make the alcohol do essentially nothing. Higher % of alcohol the better. But without salt as an abrasive you prob won't get too far.

  6. Easiest tutorial: Grab a gallon zip-lock baggie, put your piece in there, add either Epsom Salt (good for bigger pieces) or sea salt (better for smaller pieces), then pour enough 91% isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol to cover it. Close that baggie and place it inside of a second bag, just as a precaution to prevent spills. Grab your piece through the bag and swish the water through it. Let it soak overnight if its real dirty. Shake it as often as you want until it is perfectly clean. That solution is the only thing I've ever used and it will clean every piece you try it on in enough time.

  7. Easier tutorial : buy simple green, soak bubbler overnight, rinse clean in morning, then --> :bongin:
