Cleaning A Pipe

Discussion in 'Smoking Accessories Q&A' started by Rissa_420, Nov 18, 2014.

  1. Alright guys, I just bought my second glass pipe and I now have no way to clean it properly. I can only scrape resin from it and not soak it I rubbing alcohol and salt or methyl hydrate because my pipe is full of gemstones like completely covered. So if you guys have any solutions for me it would be appreciated! Peace! ✌️

  2. Boiling water and dish soap. I can't think of anything that wouldn't ruin a gemstone.

  3. Don't buy a pipe with gemstones on it. Problem solved lol. I really don't know maybe green cleaner like simple green. Idk if that will work with the resin

  4. Buy a nanobots gopher.

  5. Simple green is all I use but I have a piece made out of onyx and it made it feel kinda weird, like someone ran sandpaper over it. That's why I reccomended boiling water as that's all I can think of that wouldn't damage the stone.

  6. I usually use rubbing alcohal

  7. idk, maybe vinegar and salt? its the least harmful thing i can think of. I would also recommend buying some sturdy pipe cleaners. I know some people who do that for hardwater stains and general cleaning, but it for sure doesn't work as well as alchohol and salt.

  8. Run it through a kiln. 1050F will make it clean as new.

  9. Use CLR. I want to see a pic of your pipe. Covered in gemstones?
