Cleaning a piece... With "expired" iso alchohol?

    Okay guys so my bowl is starting to get pretty doused with resin buildup. I observed the piece cleaning guide, and found all the materials for it. As I'm about to get ready to clean, I notice the iso alchohol bottle has an expiration date on it for a date in 07? Would it be bad to still clean my piece with it? Please respond soon, as I want to get to cleaning it asap!

    I would assume that the expiration date is for medical use. Otherwise its still alcohol. Your glass should be fine.

    it probably won't be very effective. wont hurt it though.

    It will still work just fine. But if you're worried about it's effectiveness you can always buy more.

    I think it's around $2.00 at your local pharmacy or dollar store :smoke:

    yea it would work but if you are sketched out how about u go buy a new bottle...theyre super cheap

    The expiration is for medical use to keep drs from stocking up then using the same stuff for 10 years. Supposidly the reason is that is when too much plastic has leeches into the iso.
