Classic LED vs fluorescent LED

    I need to buy some better lights ASAP as I'm already into my grow and some of my lights have gone, the only lights that are accessible to me which I can buy locally are classic LEDs 100w x2 or fluorescent LED 100w x2 probably neither of these are suitable but which one would get me through until my new grow lights come through in just over a week

    LEDs are usually more efficient than fluorescent lights, so with the same input power the LED will supply more energy to the plants.
    Unless there's a big price difference, the LED is probably better.
    Either light could be used as supplemental light in the future.

    There is many drop in replacement bulbs now for fluorescents that are stips of leds. Many are high quality and would work equally as well for plant growing as what they're replacing but at an increased efficiency. I've seen them at the hardware store. I think using bridgelux leds.

    drop in replacement bulbs now for fluorescents I use have 6 /4 footers pumping 18 watts from the 33 watts on the old style, cheap funtionctional barely but do well in early veg, get more Lu by removing the plastic cover same with the LED house bulbs too
