Hi everyone, I'm a first time blogger and am going through the process of seeing my first homegrown plant (purple Kush ) complete the bloom stage. It was a steep learning curve with that plant understanding the space requirements, preparing the room, a 3ft(L)x 2ft(W)x7ft(height) closet , getting carbon filter, fans and general DWC set up for a plant during veg and bloom. My aim is to create a perpetual grow cycle that lasts 6-8 weeks with 4 plants. For this grow I'll be continuing with the following Nutrients: Rapid Roots 0.5-1-1 Solution- Seedlings FloraNova One Part Solution- Vegging FloraNova One Part Solution- Blooming FloraNova Floralicious Bloom Enhancer Botanicare Clearex- Flushing during Bloom Veg Space DP60- Deep Propagator tent with 4- 22W LED bulbs (EcoSavers) When my first plant is done bloom I will transfer the vegging seedlings into the flower chamber once they become to robust, which has the LED lights. 3 Purple Kush Seeds from CropSeedKings 1 Bag Seed - Purple Kush graft strain from friend. CHAPTER 1- The seeding process Filled a 2 litre bottle with water and left for 2 days to stale. Poured water into jug and used PH Down to get water to 5.7 PH. Poured a glass of the PH water and put the seeds in it. Will wait 24 hours and then begin the TISSUE GERMINATION TECHNIQUE. Growing medium is Rock wool and clay pebbles Putting the company brand out there to see how their genetics performs. During the first time I attempted to germinate 2 seeds, only 1 grew and the other was a dud. Gonna germinate the remaining three and see how this goes... Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
Two out of the four initial seeds germinated and are showing some nice growth. They were stretching for the hole in the grow tent so they kinda grew sideways. Sorry CKS - you guys lose a stripe there. Gave the emerged seedlings 1 tsp of GH RapidStart Rooting Enhancer in the soup. Will monitor them periodically. Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
Still vegging. Out of 5 purchased seeds from CROP KING SEEDS, only 2 sprouted so I won't be recommending this seed company to anyone. Canadian Forum members please take note. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
