I need to flush my babies and I'm out of rain water so had to buy 12 gallons of spring water, 6 gallons for each. The ph of the spring water is 7.3. I've got citric acid to lower the ph. I've read good and bad on citric acid. I accidentally fed them too much nitrogen, and they are in flower. Should i flush with 5 gallons each and mix in tiger bloom by itself with the last gallon or wait a few days to feed them? They are autos. I fed every watering with my last one and got 4.2 ounces from one plant. I've also read that since autos are short lived, they use a lot of nutes. I'm gonna be broke for a couple days and citric acid powder is all I have. What should I take the ph down to? I can't let anything happen to my girls and the excess nitrogen is killing them.
Using flairform ph up down atm and the down is made with citric acid. I reckons 5.5-5.8. it tends to break down in the soil and my runoff comes out higher. Had 7.3 today went in at 6.1 smh Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
Citric acid is some wicked stuff. I experimented with a 5 gallon bucket of dehumidifier water. The water was 8.7. 1 table spoon of citric acid took the water down to 3.2. I went and got some ph down, $15. 1 pinch and had my spring water to 6.5. I flushed them, 7 gallons on the older plant and 5 on the small. Run off was 6.3. My soil isn't out a wack, i guess just too much nitrogen in flowering. I didn't feed them after I flushed. Should i of had?
No, whats the point of flushing if you're gonna feed them again, flushing rids the plants of all nutrients fertz youve fed, so your finished product dosent taste like shit, and you're not smoking chemicals
