So I brought this to Pandora's box in case there was too much debate for SLR forum.
What are your honest thoughts on circumcision? Are you for it or against it? Does it have anything to do with whether you are if you are male or for astechics if you're male or female?

Personally I am really against circumcision.
Oh I am not really calculating in relgious practices/tribe while I may not agree with with it at all, I respect that people see this as "traditional"

Honestly, though you are violating civil rights. A baby can't say yes or no to that and you are MUTILATING their genitals. This vlogger makes some really good points about it.

So I am all for keeping the foreskin! It is how it is naturally supposed to be, circumcision is said to be "more clean" but that is BS. They wanted to make it harder to masturbate for guys. It makes guys less sensitive (why should ladies have all the fun? Our "tips" aren't cut off...at least where I live)
Also if you don't take care of yourself you'll be less clean no matter what.

There are my few points. I leave you with Evil Boy who is against cicumcision

    Now, what are your thoughts?

  2. I'm totally for it. No offense, but uncircumcised dicks are nasty. I wouldn't touch a gut

  3. Before I accidentally submitted the post, I was gonna say I wouldn't touch a guy that was uncut.

  4. don't really have an opinion on whether or not it is a violation to do it, but my son is. it's just the standard, in the US at least. it's more sanitary as well I believe.

  5. So for you it is pure aesthetics ?
I mean, literally being uncircumcised doesn't make you dirty...being dirty makes you dirty.
I am just curious as to there is more to your opinion then looks of it.

I feel the porn industry has a lot to do with the "attractiveness" of the penis. Pornograpy mainly has cicumcised guys, also there was a upswing in the popularity of circumcision when a lot of those people were born.

  6. There's already been a few very extensive threads on this topic.

  7. I am from the US too, but I wouldn't get my son cut if I were to have a baby. I mean what if they don't want it. Also you're making your kid less sensitive and changing their anatomy. Just like women's genitals naturally clean themselves. The penis lubricated itself and cleans itself....but not after you cut after the foreskin. You're also cutting off an imense amount of nerves.
I don't think people put a lot of thought into it beyond..."It's cleaner". Which is what we are all told.

  8. Sorry I did search for it and didn't find one and it has been a topic amoungst my peers lately and I was curious.

  9. well, it happened like, probably soon after i was born, so its not like i had much of  say in it. but im satisfied.

  10.
I find it funny that a baby has it's civil rights violated by being circumcised. Does abortion violate it's rights?

    I honestly could careless  :confused_2:
I am circumcised, never had a problem in my life because of it. Soooo i don't think it even really matters.

Probably wouldn't get my child circumcised as I am not really religious and it doesn't even really matter.

Fuck all that "it's unfair to the baby" and "it makes the penis less sensitive" crap. I had it removed for religious purposes, I don't care and I am not even religious anymore. My penis still works just the way I want it to.

  12. Haha that's cause it usually gets out of hand and they get deleted. This thread will boil down to it being compared to female circumcision and called genital mutilation.

  13. No, a ball of cells isn't a living being. Once that thing has popped out of the womb it is a full formed human being.

Your apathy is noted lol. I know people who are cut and wish they weren't and people who are uncut and wish they were cut. I think it is best to be content, religion is one thing but should it really be standard practice for everyone?

  14. It should be more like a coming of age kinda thing, if you accept Christianity then go get it surgically removed for your beliefs sake. I don't think the parent should decide on how the child's penis looks like before it even has a decision.

  15. I figured that might happened which is why I kept it to Pandora lol. I was just honestly curious. It has become a hot topic amoungst my friends (I study Psychology and Human Sexuality) and I was wondering what GC had to say about it.

I like when people can debate civily but that can't always happen, and I will state that everyone is entitled to their opinions in my threads but respect others

  16. I am of similar opinion. I don't mind what people are. I just think it should be their own choice. I mean I was baptised and comfirmed but I'm not relgious. I wouldn't push a relgion on my kid, I would let them read and explore what is best for them and then let them make a choice.

  17.  That "ball of cells" is a viable, living being long before it "pops" out of the womb.

Dude screw circumcision, I ain't cut and proud of it. I've read there's actually quite a few benifits of still having the skin as well. Benifits such as the fact there's alot of nerve endings that get damaged if you get circumcised (shit feels better). Apparently the foreskin is also used to hold lubrication and keep shit sliding smoothly, not strictly speaking lubrication wise too. The barbed hook shape on the end of a circumcised penis actually scrapes and changes the lining on the inside of a vagina. All the facts I just stated have been scientifically proven Google them :) At the same time does it really matter? If you got it done as a baby you won't know any diffrent, we've also had it going on for so long and no harm has come from it? I should also throw it out there so I don't sound biased but there are also benifits of getting your foreskin cut. It makes it easier to keep clean (creating better protection from infections and what not). Also as you've read earlier the media has made it the stereotipical image for a penis, making girls more visualy pleased to it.Sent from my GT-I9100 using Grasscity Forum mobile app

  19. you're entitled to think so but this is a debate over circumcision not abortion or what determines life. Let's try not to get OT if you feel something has strong standing to your opinion feel free to state those things, but don't go off track
    thanks guys ! :hello:

  20. not to be tooo flippant, but..... how would docking be accomplished if all the dicks were snipped?
