Circa Survive

    there are no words to describe this band. every element is perfect. if you enjoy the mars volta, youll probably like Circa survive. theyve only written two albums but everyone should own both. download "On Letting Go" and "Juturna". not later, NOW, actually, YESTERDAY!

    Love Circa Survive, one of the best rock bands out there today imo. Anthony Green is an incredible musician, but if you like Circa Survive you have to listen to The Sound of Animals Fighting, an amazing side project that he did few years ago.

    yeah both circa survive and the sound of animals fighting are amazing bands.

    have Tiger&Duke and their newer cd lover, the lord has left us by TSOAF

    havnt gotten any CC albums yet but have heard couple songs and you cant complain really. g00d rock.

    I love Circa Survive. Their music is so spaced yet cohesive. Very good band to see live, especially if you've smoked up a little bit.

    i did till Green left, the new guy just doesn't do it for me.

    I really dug Jaturna, but not so much of On letting go. It just didn't seem progressive. Same sound as the previous album, possibly slower, it just didn't do it for me.

    Absolutely love Circa Survive. Glorious Nosebleed is great too off juturna so is Oh. Hello.

    Anthony Green is also awesome, and Saosin when they had Anthony Green is really one of my all time favorite bands.

    If you like Circa download the Translating the Name EP from Saosin. Wont be dissapointed.

    Great recommendation! Anthony Green's voice on that EP is AWESOME! Anthony also put out that solo work album like last year or the year before... i forget... Avalon. It has some great material on it.


    QUESTION FOR THE CROWD

    Anyone collect vinyls? Listen to Juturna or On Letting Go on Vinyl?

    It's a great experience stoned. You get a chance to feel the emotion of Circa's music in a new way on vinyl. It is like a whole new music experience.

    Not a huge fan, but I've always loved In Fear and Faith.
