The ONLY way for her to get the benefits of THC without smoking would be Edibles and Vaporizing. I'm guessing the reason she wont smoke is because of the bad taste and the damage it does to her lungs, in that case, Vaporizing will solve both of those. A vaporizer has almost no taste(that's right, no burning material in your throat) and the high is generally more intense, which means her pain will be relieved completely.

was in a huge amount of pain for a few weeks due to several broken appendages and vicodin was the only thing that was working for a while.
but it sucksss when you stop. which is why i don't seriously recommend it.

edibles should be fine, most edibles are for treating things like arthritis or chronic pain anyways
