I'm sick of Firefox and it's RAM/CPU usage, so I'm thinking of making the switch to Chrome...however I use an addon called ProfileSwitcher that allows me to switch between normal browsing and school work profiles to keep things organized. As far as I am aware it isn't possible to switch profiles in Chrome from within Chrome itself. Does anyone have any experience with switching profiles in Chrome?
Well I have to admit I don't see the point; why not just sort your Favorites into folders and be done with it? Anyway, Google Chrome supports this without any add-ins: Managing multiple users on Chrome - Google Chrome Help
I agree with this. But now that I know chrome supports different users I may just make one for porn. Then I won't have to hide all the porn I bookmarked 8 folders down in my games folder.
It is in options add another account... I haven't tried it yet but I have the same issue.. but really looks like you just create a 2nd google account 1 for personal and 1 for work and you can switch between them. Try this link: How to Create Separate Profiles in Google Chrome for Family Members
