Chopped plant how do i know when its ready? first time grow hang drying

    also the box is pretty dark no sun hits it directly

    It depends on humidity and temp and airflow and other thing too I'm sure.. But basically like 5-7 days it should be dry, sometimes up to 10 days with high humidity. Once it stems snap, not bend, they are ready for jars.
