Chocolate bar with booze 'n' bud.

Discussion in 'Weed Edibles' started by Maximillien127, Aug 2, 2012.

  1. I'm going to make some CannaOil and chuck it into a chocolate bar. But I was wondering something. If I were to chuck a couple of shots in with the oil, then would I feel the effects of alcohol aswell as herb?

I have heard that cooking alcohol destroys it. But I plan to melt down a choco bar. Add the oil and shots to the melted chocolate and then re-cool it. I want to eat it before I see Ted in the cinema! :D

  2. depending on how high of a temp you bring the alcohol to will determine if you feel those effects. not sure of the evap temp for alcohol but its fairly low.

i also am not sure your chocolate bar would re-solidify after adding the alcohol to it. i know when making my peanut butter chocolate bars, i have to be careful of the oil to PB ratio as well as the oil to chocolate ratio. It tends to "water" down the chocolate and PB and they dont get as firm after that.

but i know of one way to find out for sure...

    EXPERIMENT!!

  3. sounds nice

  4. Thanks, well I am not going to be cooking the alcohol at all. I'm going to make the CannaOil and once that is done. Melt chocolate down, add the oil and alcohol and solidify it and munch! If it comes to it I will just have to use more chocolate, I'm not going to complain about eating more! ;) :D:hello:

  5. I feel like the alcohol won't harden with the chocolate. People put vodka in the freezer all the time, this could just ruin the canna oil
