I've been able to get information on the THC and CBD content of EU industrial hemp but I can't get at anything regarding Chinese industrial hemp regulations. I'd really appreciate it if you guys could help me with this as I have Chinese hemp seeds in my possession. What I'm hoping for is high CBD content and low THC content like EU hemp but I have no idea where to start this search. I'll freely admit that I've only been searching for 30 minutes so far but I haven't found any leads. Thanks.
I might not smoke it but I'd like something with high CBD and low THC as a possible treatment for a schizophrenic cousin. Thanks for the bump, though
EU hemp doesn't have much THC (less than 0.2%) but can contain 1-5% CBD (info I got off Wikipedia). If Chinese hemp is anything like this, I'd consider it a success. If by "Hemp doesn't have any" you mean that Chinese hemp strains don't contain CBD, please offer a reference as this would be very important information to me.
Start here. http://www.projectcbd.com/OAQs.html Q. I have heard that CBD is the dominant cannabinoid in hemp plants. Can I just smoke or ingest hemp or ditchweed to get the healing effects of CBD? A: It is true that hemp fiber or seed strains will be relatively high in CBD, but their overall cannabinoid content will probably be low. In general, a plant is bred to be good for one of three purposes: drug (usually THC), fiber or seed. It is an unusual plant that is useful in more than one category. Hemp is genetically bred for fiber growth, not resin production. CBD-rich yields from hemp are likely to be low without selective breeding for CBD content.
This is as close as I can find- [SIZE=12pt]Influence of agroclimatic conditions on content of main cannabinoids in industrial hemp (Cannabis sativa L.)
