So I checked out the converting an a/c into a chiller and it's pretty cool but there has to be a better way. Afterall, I don't really have room in my stealth grow closet for an a/c. And I certainly don't want to run water lines across the room and under the door. So I am wondering if there is anybody out there who has implemented a different kind of chiller that is small, low key, cheap to build or buy. I am only chilling one bubble bucket so it doesn't need to be overkill. Any suggestions are appreciated.
freeze two liter bottles of water and change out daily. even if you just change out as you think about it... its better than nothing.
yea, thats what I have been doing, swapping out 3 frozen 20 oz. bottles just looking for some more innovative ideas.
I knew one guy who had his buckets in an IGLOO cooler and he surrounded them with ice water. The drain on the cooler made it easy to drain and refill. He had access to free ice.
this is prety much wat i do, i use ice but it does not go into the bucket but into water that is surrounding te bucket, i dont want to freeze the roots
