ah man i love the expendables. listen to rebelution there...kinda like em...the dirty heads are pretty good one of their singers sounds just like bradley nowell from sublime and sings like em too

 

Have you ever heard of The Disco Biscuits? They're kinda like a jam band/electronic mix but they're pretty cool to listen to, especially high as fuck. There's also Slightly Stoopid who I'm sure you've heard of but they're always good.

My favorite songs to chill to are pretty much all by dream theatre. They make THE BEST instrumentals of any band I have heard in my life, and having worked in a record label, I have heard alot of music ranging all genres of rock/metal. These are my favorites, but they have literally hundreds of songs that are all amazing. All their musicians are masters of their respective instruments, and I challenge you to find a band that has their technical skill and their musical writing prowess.
