The show "The Doctors" on CBS had a little part today about MMJ for children. A kid had autism and was around 40 ilbs at the age of 10 I beleive. He was in the 7 percentile of his age for weight. He now has doubled his weight and is in the 70 percentile. They were all encouraging more research for this and I beleive this is all a great step. CBS Television Distribution - Shows - The Doctors check out monday edit-btw his mom had put the weed in the brownies and he had some every 2 days. They also noticed alot better communicating skills aswell.
That sounds great. I know that MMJ is a lot better than other psychoactives we prescribe kids, like methyphenidate. I took that thru elementary school and looking back, I wish they had told me about it. Like, shit. This stuff makes me not be able to sleep and not eat, but I never knew that. I was taking up to 40mg a day. Honestly, if the kid gets high, maybe that's not bad. Autism sucks, and maybe he will actually enjoy life in that time.
They showed the kid also before and after and his attitude was so much better both the mother and the doctor agreed. This is pretty groundbreaking to have on t.v
