Yeah so I'm just gonna take this time to rant about how much Chicago sucks. First of all, prices are terrible. Prices in other states are half of what we pay. Here I pay: Mids - $10 gram Dro - $15 gram Good shit - $20 gram (sometimes $25 a gram if it's new) That's fucking terrible for a person that smokes a gram of tree per session. 2ndly, buds with names are hard to find. I've smoked a lot of medical grade stuff when I've been in other states and it's good to know what kind of high you'll have when you buy the herbs. I just don't like getting some no name bud that just makes me fall asleep all the time. When I buy fucking Sour Diesel, I know I can smoke it and go to work or class, or whatever, but if it's some no name kush, I just fall asleep all over the place. 3rdly, although decriminalization of weed has happened, I still get sketched out cause there are still a lot of asshole cops that still make their personal job to give you shit. Smoking in public or being near a school is still an arrest. Plus, a lot of people spend their time in the suburbs where herbs are NOT decriminalized. Yeah there's my rant. Any other Chicago smokers sympathize?

Where i live, it seems like that when people say DRO, its slang for some fiiiire, dank, cronic, etc.. but in Chi., its like the middle quality of whats available? ..and theres no dispensaries there yet?
naw man.. we just decriminalized it this summer. For us, mids isn't really middle grade. We just call it that cause it's just not as bad as schwag. Our middle grade is what we call dro. I haven't heard anyone use it to talk about hydroponically grown herbs. Just a term we use.

dont cry ( or even complain) about it man. Cause here in Europe where I live I pay 20 euros per gram, and most of the times u cant be sure is it even a gram. Never smoked dank in my life. All we get here usually is some regular MJ.... (sometimes really small bags) and we have to accept em because of no scale and sometimes we (I) dont have another option if I want to smoke. So yeah, appreciate the fact that you can smoke dank (I dont know, I would be fucking thankful If I ever had a chance to smoke it), and again the prices aint bad at all compared to prices at here. I think the only problem here is you being ungrateful and you should learn more to appreciate shit you get, dont blame the weed or neither the prices, cause as I said there are people with way more shitty situations.
Dude I live a little south in Plainfield, and the prices are worse than that $10- .5g $20- 1g $60 for an eighth $120 for a quarter It doesn't even matter if it's dank or schwag, there's no negotiating on prices
I live in Chicago, there's always negotiating on price. The price of something is whatever you can get somebody to pay. Don't get bullied. Or you might need to do some networking to get with a better deal

I used to live a few hrs from Chicago. We would ALWAYS get our bud there. I don't know how you're complaining. We found dank ass chron for less than 300 an O. Like an above poster previously stated, you need to network better.
No matter how good of dank we get, I have come to the conclusion that any green state dank makes almost all midwest dank look only decent. That's why we always trying to get from Colorado or California.
Just another reason to love living in Colorado. I'd tell a motherfucker to go kick rocks if he tried to make me pay more than $15 for a gram of dank.
I have smoked some dank in different parts of chicago. I'm talking from North to south side but finding a good dealer is hard I agree, right now I'm getting medicine from the West Coast
hell yeah, i just moved from chicago so I definitely feel ya....at least i had connections there, though it took me years to find good weed but i eventually found some decent stuff
i cant really agree with the whole quality. you might not know the right people. and if your smoking a g per sesh you should buy quantity, but again to get good prices you should probably know the right person, ive seen plenty of grade A buds pass through my pipes, ive lived all over the chicago land area and i got a few good friends who live in chicago right now who got some goood nugget. and on the decriminalization we needa be happy we got what we got, at least if they find a dub on your or whatever its a ticket, yeah you still gotta be smart about it, even in legal states if im not mistaken you cant smoke openly in public and you still cant smoke near a school, so its pretty similar. im not arguing with you on it im just stating from a different side of it. i've personally never paid more than 110 for a quarter, and that was a few rare occasions, and eights i can almost always get for the 50-55 range. yeah .5 is 10 and a g is 20, thats how its been for a long time out here man lol everyone here is used to it
Damn It must suck for you buddy. I have no worries I smoke California Dank. I don't get it from anyone here in Chicago, I get it from a buddy of mine in Cali. Chicago isn't so bad though just look for other people in the city that are legit stoners. They should point you in the right direction.
im sorry buty this shit pisses me off. l2 appreciate shit u got. I pay about 25 bucks for one gram and its some shitty mids, finding sticks from a bag is a normal thing. Usually I smoke a gram a day, it makes about 650+ bucks per month on weed. Luckily (or sadly) i am unemployed and if i run out of money, im out... but yeah... dude... atleast u get fucking dank, i wish i could smoke dank in my lifetime
Growing seems like a reasonable alternative but when your in an illegal state it can be tough, not that I know anything about growing but I hear it can be expensive electricity bill wise and keeping the smell down must be tough. People in my current apartment can smell when I open a bag of dank, I couldn't imagine what the smell would be like with a few flowering plants. Also I guess it depends on where your living and whom your living with.
