Chest pain from edibles

Discussion in 'Weed Edibles' started by Mariachi77, Aug 6, 2019.

  1. 3 weeks ago I tried weed for the first time in form of brownies. A friend made the oil from around 8 grams and put the oil in chocolate brownies. 6 of us split the brownies in portions and ate our part.

To summarize the evening we barely made it through the night. I had severe halucinations, very high heart rate, very strong headache etc.

The main thing that worries me is a dull pain in the middle of my chest that is not going away. (3 weeks) It feels like a burning sensation/pain maybe 5cm below the skin. Since the heart is around that spot, aorta and all the other parts, could the described condition inflict damage on my heart or a part of it.

Edit: I feel the heart pulse a bit more after the incident, and my heart rate is maybe a bit higher than before.

Now I'm pretty worried and a bit scared, does anyone have a similair experience? Should I visit a doctor, and how long will thc stay in my blood for the doctor to see?

  3. I have what is known as gerd and what you are describing sounds like severe heart burn - which can be caused by some edibles like brownies - try drinking an 8oz glass of water ith 1/8 tsp of baking soda in it - if it takes it away then it is 100% gastrointestinal. but center chest pain is most often esophagus not heart (heart is mainly pain on the left side of chest)

  4. You probably ingested 200-250mg of THC which is no fun for 90% of people. Tell your friend to do the math next time. I really doubt you have any damage from the experience and the THC should be gone by now. If you still have pains, see a doctor. Hope you feel better soon.

  5. The severe overdose caused that.
1/2 gram is more than enough for most people.

  6. You ate to much. You fucked up your endocannabinoid system up. Now you'll occasionally to very often go strait to paranoia when you use ganja.

Yes ganja is a drug. Yes poison is in the dosage. Yes you can fuck yourself up by EATING to much ganja. No you dont green out from eating ganja like you do if you smoke. Youll get higher and higher till youre fucked. Now, youre fucked.

  7. Try some Rolaids or Tums or other antacid. :)

  8. I went to the doctor and made the complete checkup, they found nothing abnormal about the chest area, but I still feel the pain, especially after physical activity, gym training, running or sex. I'm not sure if I should be worried, I don't want to feel this for the rest of my life. ( it has been 5 weeks since the incident)...

  9. You probably just have anxiety or something man.. Marijuana is the safest drug you can do really nobody has ever died doing it lol

All that's happened to you is you overdid it.. you should have ate a 1/4 of 1 brownie or even half then waited 1-2 hours & see how you felt.. then repeat again till you find a good dose.

  10. Well I feel constant physical pain, and it gets worse when I breathe in heavily, not sure if anxiety can cause something like that...

  11. Anxiety can feel like your having a heart attack if you have a bad episode.. have you been checked for acid reflux at all?? That can give you pain in your chest pain like you're describing

  12. Quick update, pain faded away after a while but after more than three months (maybe 'cuse of cold weather) the pain returned and is back like it was at the start.

Seems like something is not right, if I breathe in deeply I feel pain. Not sure what to think...

  13. Try doing a week juice fast. Or a water only fast. Search for a local authentic hot stone sauna and go get some steam. Get a massage. Stop eating meat or animal products for a week.

You need a mental and physical "reset", like when your IT guy tells you to turn your modem off and then back on again lol

Popping a pill or eating one salad for dinner isn't going to give you the cleanse you may be in need of
