Chemdawg #4 on day 8 of flower. About 3 months old from seed. My set up is: 2.2x2.2x5 Mars hydro tent AC Infinity Carbon Filter SF2000 7Gal pot Roots Organic Lush soil Roots organic dry ammendments (bloom, microbe charge)
Looks great mate, did the front guard on your fan break, or are you running it without the front screen for another reason? (legit question, I'm smart enough to know that I don't know everything about growing and when I saw that it piqued my curiosity) Also the SF-2000 is a solid light, I use a couple of SF-4000s in my bays, which are more or less constructed of the same boards and diodes, just more of them to cover a larger footprint
Thank you! It's a 200 watt. I thought it would stretch quite a bit but it hasn't luckily. It's around 15" from the canopy Sent from my SM-G986U using Grasscity Forum mobile app
are you feeding them anything? What are the ranges for temp and humidity? Kudos on developing a full canopy but I'm noticing a fair amount of leaf cell collapse and fading to yellow at the serrations. Not sure if thats light stress or environmental.
I appreciate it! I like to run my fans without the grill on them to increase the air output. They tend to really inhibit the airflow when I've kept them on. Only thing I gotta watch for is clipping my fingers on them which is painful lol That's awesome though I would love to have an SF4000. Sent from my SM-G986U using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Roots organic dry ammendments. It looked pretty bad a few weeks ago so its obviously recovering from something. I don't consider myself an expert or anything I'm still learning about deficiencies. Temp is around 80 and humidity is 45-50%. Sent from my SM-G986U using Grasscity Forum mobile app
My fan grills seem to need about a monthly wipe down to keep them from collecting too much junk, I've often thought of removing them, but in the larger tents they are 20 inch are larger floor standing models, and I know I'll just repeatedly back into the blades, and my back is too hairy to risk an entanglement scenario like that! (why I'd be in a grow tent shirtless I'll leave for wild speculation) They aren't the end all be all for 4x4 or 5x5 coverage, but SF-4000s I have are generally rugged, and efficient, these two are relatively new but my oldest one has over 10,000 hours on it with no failures, and it still outputs over 95% of the light that the brand new (less than 500 hours) ones do. For a non-commercial grow, you could do way worse is what I'm saying.
Yes you're definitely right they do tend to collect quite a bit of dust over time. Haha I got ya, that would suck getting all tangled up . Your set up looks amazing that's exactly what I dream of getting someday! Sent from my SM-G986U using Grasscity Forum mobile app
