Cheech triple honeycomb

I say get a carbon filter. If you get as ash catcher that's gonna be way to much diffusion. You'll lose alot of flavor.

 

I put cotton balls in mine. Its a glass tube with ice pinches. Why do you smoke if you don't care about loss of flavor?

I have a McFinn's carbon filter. I'd say I replace the carbon in it maybe every 3-4 days depending on how heavily I've been smoking. You just buy extra carbon in a big container.
Besides filtration and smoother hits the hands down biggest benefit IMO is how much cleaner my glass stays. Almost every single bit ash stays in the filter and also lots of the tar and resin. I'm not trying to exaggerate but I'd bet my glass stays 90% cleaner. Especially if you run a pinch slide or a disc diffused slide (also highly recommendo!)

I just bought the cheech honeycomb bong two days ago. The triple one as well. This thing is a little ripper. Pretty much no drag at all. It hits like a bubbler but is smooth like a bong.

I don't really pull my ash through so I can't comment on the plugging the holes.

I really want a carbon filter or an ash catcher to keep my piece cleaner.

I'm leaning towards a carbon filter cause of how sleek it is and small and it does a superb job like the other guy was saying.

But I'm also heavily considering an ash catcher for the extra diffusion and some extra room to milk the bong.


This bong is a straight shooter. The moment the bowl is lit and you inhale. The smoke is already at your lips. So I know an ash catcher won't really lose flavor and the drag it does create is almost wanted. This bong is small but I love it

Go with an ash catcher if you want a bit more diffusion and room to milk.

Get a carbon filter if you want to keep the look and the way it hits, and have a functional catcher

 

I was thinking a 3 or 6 arm perc one. Really, whatever you can afford. I'm tired of buying cheap ash catchers. So if I buy one its going to be a quality one

Just look at you local headshop

What helps a lot is just looking at bong hits on YouTube. See what ash catchers you come across and see what you like

I smoke for both reasons. Medical issues. If I didn't like the flavor I would do edibles. How is that ridiculous kid?

 

Where I live we get some amazing tasting herb. I don't want to lose one bit of that sweet flavor. I guess some people just smoke swagg and hate the taste I dunno.
