EC and TDS is just diff ways of reading the same thing, dont let it bother you, but if I were you I would of read into the meters more to make a more informed decision before spending hard earned money. I havent bought one but I believe EC is the more popular of the choices.

 

Ummm, you might want to pick up some rockwool starter cubes. Do you have the net pot for your bubbler? Make sure you have ph up and down on hand. Only other things are : lights, timer, and fans.

If you are in the U.S., keep the tds meter. It will just be easier for you. I like starting seeds in rockwool or perlite. Perlite is super cheap and easier to use for cloning later too!

 

And don't forget to pick up rockwool conditioner for your rockwool, also, you can by the slabs of rockwool and cut your own cubes, its easy and 1 slab will last you for years.
