This is my first real post, well second i asked some questions about some little spots on my plant but they seem to have sorted them selfs out now thanx to everyone that helped. Okay 14days ago 2 seedlings popped out from under! 1xblz fem and 1xbag seed. im growing under a 250watt mh light to be changed to a 250 hps when flowering. lights are currentley running 24/7 because my timer broke afto 48 hours. My plants are surronded by reflective bord in my un used second bathroom/girlfrends darkroom and theres a tabel top fan blowing up at the plant pots which are rased by 2 more up turned plant pots. ive already re potted about a week ago because they were growing so fast and there still growing strong and fast. already afto 14 days they both stand about 4 to 5inch tall and 11 to 12inch across with 3 to 4 nodes on each, sorry if thats the rong term still getting the hang of the lingo!! my ph is inbetween 6 and 7. It would be great if you people could help and give advice when you think i need it or even when you dont, all input will help even if it just widens my options, as this is my first ever grow. You should find something else for sheeting because im pretty sure that the mirrors are the worse thing to use because it absorbs light and doesn't reflect it. Mylar, flat white paint, or aluminum foil would work better
nick ive been trying to speek to people all night afto posting this in the wrong areas. thank god there are other ppl out there. yeah i read that somewhere my self. the bord in front is a home made tin foil reflector and yeah it dose seem to work alot better!!! cheers.
Yeah but i would just look into making a grow box. Easier to reflect all the light and easier to keep your tempeatures constant and stuff. You should start reading the plant training form under advanced plant somethng i forget. But check out the stickys on the top about topping, scrog, and lst
yeah i actuly made a grow box 2ftx3ftx3ft altho it was far too hot in there with the mh light, it was getting up to 95f so i ditched it. it was all lined with tin foil. it was my pride and joy for weeks untill i realised it was'nt going to work!! the room its in now stays at a pritty constant temp of around 75 to 85 also has extracter fan which goes out to the roof so it seems pritty safe!!
Brilliant- can't believe you're on here, mate. Good stuff, good stuff. You can prob just get away with putting up some boards painted white rather than mirrors or foil etc (really DON'T use foil- I hear it can reflect unevenly and make little hot spots on your plant as it's creased in little places. Plain matte white's quite reflective and definitely won't burn your plant. If you do want to use something reflective, though, mirrors aren't actually that bad a choice. Either that or one of those mylar emergency blankets you can get at survival shops/army and navy stores. I'll keep looking at this, mr bluto.
Switchy boy mi old fruit!! hows the foot?? i had to spend a day in a an e with the mrs! turned out she fractured it!! The foil has been removed, when i got back afto the week away i found a few little burns also the bottom leaves seem to be going yellow and one seems to be crisping up a little?? any idears anyone? al try get some more pics up today!! they got alot bigger!! and smell quite sweet!!!!!!!!
hello!! seem to have fixed the problem. think they just needed feeding!! hears some pics 4 and a half weeks into veg.
okay just switched lights off for 36 hours then going into flowering. 8 to 10 weeks till harvest!! can't wait! plants are both currentlry 21inch tall and bushy as f##k. lost my camera so al find it and post more pics on wedenesday.
